KayaReach (Pty) Ltd is a business in the telecommunications industry that supplies affordable internet connectivity to underserved communities.
The Service
The service provided by KayaReach (we/us/our) to you (you/your) is a pre-paid voucher-based internet service ("the service") for a specified time period ("the subscription term"). To order the service, you are required to register on the KayaReach captive portal. Once registered, you may purchase a voucher of your choice from the website. The subscription term for each voucher commences on the activation date. In order to recharge, you must purchase an additional voucher. There is a strict no-refund policy applicable to the service. This means you cannot cancel your subscription and claim a refund once payment has been made for the voucher. We reserve the right to change the configuration of the service so long as the change will not materially affect the service. We will give you as much notice as is reasonably possible. The service might be affected by zinc structures, thick walls, fish tanks, mirrors, microwaves, or homes that are bigger than 100m². Access to the internet is by design best effort in nature, and no individual service provider has any ability to control the reliability of the internet beyond its own network. We may suspend the service without notice if we:
- Have to comply with an order, instruction, or request of a court or other authority;
- Have reasonable grounds to consider that the service(s) is being used fraudulently or illegally;
- Have reasonable grounds to consider that you are or have been involved or connected with criminal activity or any other activity which may be detrimental to KayaReach;
- Have reasonable grounds to consider that you have contravened our acceptable use policy found on our website.
Delivery Policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 day, and delivery will be confirmed via the KayaReach captive portal.
Export Restriction
The offerings on this website are available to South African clients only.
Return and Refunds Policy
The provision of goods and services by KayaReach (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, KayaReach (Pty) Ltd will refund the client in full within 30 days. Orders of services cannot be cancelled. Upon redemption of vouchers/tokens from third-party merchants, the redeemed amount cannot be exchanged for cash. The redeemed amount will remain on the KayaReach captive portal and will stay available to the customer for spending on KayaReach products/services.
Customer Privacy Policy
KayaReach (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Payment Options Accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, Mastercard, SiD Secure EFT, or Capitec Pay. KayaReach also accepts 1Voucher (Flash) and OTT Vouchers.
Card Acquiring and Security
Card transactions will be acquired for KayaReach (Pty) Ltd via Payfast by Network, which is the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. Payfast by Network uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3), and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.payfast.io to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer Details Separate from Card Details
Customer details will be stored by KayaReach (Pty) Ltd separately from card details, which are entered by the client on Payfast by Network’s secure site. For more details on Payfast by Network, refer to www.payfast.io.
Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. The transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
KayaReach (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including the sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.
Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa, and KayaReach (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court processes, notices, or other documents or communications of whatsoever nature: Block D, Corporate 66 Office Park, 269 Von Willich Ave, Die Hoewes, Centurion, 0157.
Variation
KayaReach (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Our Obligations
We will:
– Comply with all applicable laws;
– Provide the services to you in a manner that is in accordance with industry standards;
– Use our best efforts to keep the services available at all times, taking into consideration that we cannot be held liable for any failure or disruptions as a result of the actions or omissions of other network operators.
Your Obligations
You will:
– Not do anything which directly or indirectly breaches our acceptable use policy.
– Deal with us and our employees and designated contractors in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner and not in any manner act in an abusive way.
Maintenance and Support
- While we aim to keep the service up and running at all times, we may sometimes need to perform emergency maintenance without prior notice to you.
- We also bring to your attention that the service might depend on other network operators who have their own maintenance periods over which we have no control, and if the service is affected by any such maintenance, we will give you as much notice as is possible.
- If you experience a problem with the service you can contact us by phone, email, or via our website.
- Please make sure you log a support ticket and give as much information as you can; otherwise, you may experience a delayed response and turnaround time.
- Web-based speed tests are not reliable and will not be accepted by us as conclusive proof of non-performance or breach of contract.
Your Personal Information
You acknowledge that we and our contractors or payment merchants will, by virtue of the provision of the service, come into possession of your personal information. We have appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and against other unlawful forms of processing. You have the right to access any of your personal information on written notice to us, and you can have any agreed errors in your personal information fixed. You agree that we and our respective subcontractors or payment merchants may use or process your personal information:
– To provide the service, bill you, comply with our legal obligations, verify your identity and solvency, maintain, support and develop products, detect and prevent fraud, and analyse sales, revenue, and customer use, and
– To communicate to you by voice, letter, or email regarding our products and services.
General
- We shall not be in breach of these terms and conditions, or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions as a result of supervening impossibility, including but not limited to acts, events, omissions, or accidents beyond our reasonable control.
- No indulgence given by us should be construed to be an implied consent or a waiver of our rights.
- You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for all security measures required in respect of the service, and we shall not be held liable for any losses arising out of any security breaches of your service. We shall not be liable to you for any losses of whatsoever nature arising from malware, ransomware, phishing, vishing, or any similar malicious attacks on you.
